China International Offshore Oil & Gas Exhibition (abbr. ciooe), alongside with the Eighth China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (abbr. cippe) --- a regular gathering of oil and gas industry, has held for 7 sessions successfully. Ciooe held in April every year and has become the largest, modern and authoritative petroleum show in Asia.

There have been 11 overseas nation pavilions including USA, Germany, France, Russian, Italy, UK, Denmark, The Netherlands, Iran, Japan and Singapore exhibiting at the exhibition. Total 629 famous companies from 33 countries around the world, among them 26 are of the Global Top 500. The great exhibition of 3 days display attracted 30,000 professional visitors from 42 countries, and total 112 medias from 37 countries and overseas reported the event. At the same time there were China Offshore Oil & Gas Summit, China Oil & Gas Pipeline Development Summit and France Oil & Gas Advanced Technologies and so on.

Ciooe and cippe exhibition occupied exhibiting area of 31000 square meters, 11 nation pavilions, 629 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions, 26 out of Top 500, rate of overseas exhibitors is 45%, has been reported as one of the top 5 world leading petroleum exhibitions.

About 116 companies were unable to represent themselves at the show, such as SJ Petroleum Machinery, ZYT Petroleum Equipment, Caterpillar, CEEG. A lot more had limited access to the exhibition area due to space constraints, e.g., Siemens, Gazprom, Ingersoll Rand, BPM, RG Petro-Machinery. Zhenwei will relocate next year's show Cippe 2008, which will run from April 7 through 9, to New China International Exhibition Center, one of the largest exhibition halls in China. It is expected that the exhibiting space will be 42,000 square meters. Till now, more than 240 enterprises have reserved the exhibiting space for the next session.

　　David, Commercial Counselor of USA Embassy, said, “ It’s the second time we have a pavilion in ciooe&cippe, the areas have been arrived 414 square meters from last years 216 square meters. 　　 Giulia Malcangio, IES-SRL Company of Italy, said that, “We participate ciooe&cippe twice now, the group area has been changed from 18 square meters to 99 square meters. Next year, we’ll organize more Italy exhibitors and bring more advanced technology and equipments.”

　　 Ms. Ji Xukun from Danmark Industry Association, said that, “ DIA has organized 9 companies which is about offshore oil and gas equipment and exploration production, participating ciooe. And also we successful held Danmark Offshore Oil and Gas Technology and Equipment Seminar. This offers more better communication chance for the two countries in offshore oil and gas technology and equipment field. We have enough expect for the better cooperation between Danmark and China.”

　　 Paul Woodward, Manager of UFI Asia Pacific Chapter, visited cippe2006 for viewing and emulating show qualifications. He praised the high-level organization, normative service providing, high proportion of international exhibitors & visitors. He said, “cippe is the 22nd UFI approved event in China mainland. It is infrequent that 40% of exhibitors are international, while the increasing rate of 76% verified Chinese style.” He estimated that cippe would get an expanded development with UFI approved.
