Why do we hold cippe with the concurrent ciooe?

     Cippe is the abbreviated title of China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition, and it is the 22nd UFI approved event in China mainland.

        Cippe is held every April in Beijing known as the premier exhibition in the petroleum and petrochemical industries in China. Cippe has been the most important industrial show in Asia with China's largest exhibit space, highest quality and most international exhibitors. The exhibit area of the fifth session (cippe2005) reached to 17,000 square meters with an increase of 76% compared with last show. Approximately 429 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions including five pavilions of USA, Russia, Italy, Brazil, Singapore participated at this show, which contain 13 world's top 500 companies and 37% international exhibitors. Meanwhile, cippe2005 attract more than 30,000 attendees and it is running towards one of world's top oil show.

        Cippe 2005 include 117 offshore oil suppliers from 12 countries and regions such as J. Ray McDermott, Emerson, FMC, Tyco International, Graco Inc, CB&I, 3M, Actuant, Dresser Inc, Cummins, Kohler Co. in USA, APS in Australia, CLAMPON in Norway, Siemens, Bornemann Pumps in Germany, John Crane, GD Engineering in UK, Rotary Engineering in Singapore, MAYEKAWA in Japan, etc and 1st Machinery works of north china petroleum, Petrochina Exploration & Development Research Institute, Research Institute of Engineering Technology of CNPC, Zhongcheng Machinery of Dagang Oilfield Group, General Machinery Plant of Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau etc. The offshore oil exhibitors are more than one third of all exhibitors, especially four wonderful technical seminars presented by McDermott made a deep impression to full audience. Consequent by feedbacks of many exhibitors, offshore oil suppliers shall be exhibiting at an independent zone and CIOE shall be organized to connect onshore and offshore petroleum in China even worldwide. CIOE will provide a more spacious and professional platform to promote, trade and communicate for exhibiting companies. The show is more significant and important while China is adding investment to offshore construction.

[Marketing Background]

         Since year 2004, four national oil majors of China have had offshore production license in succession and China offshore oil exploration entered a much progressive stage. Firstly, the oil capacity in land can't meet increasing oil demands, and oil import is faced with economic loss and energy safety risk; secondly, oceanic oil will be main oil resource to be exploitable in the future in China. It is too difficult to find big oilfields like Daqing or Shengli in land, but offshore oil is very potential to explore and develop. China's offshore oil & gas exploration mostly locate in Bohai, Huanghai, Donghai and continental shelf of North Nanhai with an estimated oil production of 27.53 billion tons and gas production of 106 thousand billion cubic meters. At present the detecting rate is only 18.5% for crude oil and 9.2% for natural gas, so both oil and gas exploration have great potentiality. Thirdly, along with the oil & gas discoveries in Bohai Bay, offshore explorations have been improved in a large degree. It is strived to product oil equivalent of 50-55 million cubic meters in 2010 and interest oil equivalent of 20 million cubic meters abroad. Concluded as above, offshore oil engineering in six years from 2004 to 2010 equals to the sum of 20 years during under-exploration of offshore oil in China.
